Shanghai residence permit endorsement needs to provide social security certificate for 6 consecutive months before.

To apply for a residence permit in Shanghai, the following basic materials shall be provided:

1. Shanghai residence permit application form.

2. Valid identification such as resident ID card.

3. Proof of residence that you intend to live in this city for more than 6 months.

(1) If the house is purchased by itself, a copy of the corresponding property right certificate (original inspection) shall be provided.
