Procedures for flexible employees to apply for basic old-age insurance subsidies

1. Flexible employees with re-employment concession cards should apply for social insurance subsidies once a year in local community labor and social security service institutions, and only apply for basic old-age insurance subsidies in this payment year from April of that year to March of the following year. When applying, you should fill in the Examination and Approval Form of Social Insurance Subsidies for Flexible Employees in Xiangtan City, and provide: my resident ID card, labor contract cancellation letter, re-employment concession card and its copy, and a copy of personal passbook of China Bank.

2. The objects applying for social security subsidies will submit the materials to the local community, and the community will submit them to the higher employment service agencies for approval. Finally, the district employment service bureau will unify the materials of eligible subsidies to the Municipal Social Security Bureau before the 6th of each month.

3. The basic old-age insurance premium shall be paid at the rate of 20% based on the average monthly salary of employees in the province over the previous year. If it is not paid according to this base, it will be supplemented according to this standard.

4. The Municipal Social Security Bureau receives the information sent by the District Employment Bureau, and after confirming that the identified subsidy object has paid the endowment insurance premium according to the prescribed standards, it will transfer the subsidy funds into the passbook of the subsidy object before the 20th of the next month.
