What do you think of the future development of Shangqiu?

At present, the development of Shangqiu is still very good. The opening of high-speed rail and the approval of airport construction are all good news for Shangqiu, but there is still a certain gap to become the second largest city in Henan.

First of all, if Henan wants to become the second largest city, it must first surpass other cities in the province in comprehensive strength. From all aspects of Shangqiu, the only really good aspect of Shangqiu at present is railway transportation.

In terms of the total population of the city, Shangqiu can't compare with Nanyang and Zhoukou, two cities with10 million. If it is larger than the urban population, it can't compare with the urban population of Luoyang, and there is still a serious phenomenon of population outflow in Shangqiu. Looking at the traffic of the railway hub, it can be said that Luoyang and Nanyang are also comparable to Shangqiu.

Then look at the level of economic development, Shangqiu's economic aggregate is not the leading level in the province at all, or it is at the middle level in our province, and it is the turn of per capita GDP to rank behind. It can only be said that Shangqiu's agricultural development and tourism have also developed well.

However, in recent years, Shangqiu has been constantly adjusting its industrial structure, vigorously introducing advanced enterprises to settle in Shangqiu, and helping Shangqiu's economy take off. It can be said that Shangqiu has developed very well in recent years. But it does have a certain gap with the second largest city in Henan.

Thank you for trusting me and inviting me to answer! On the question that Shangqiu will be the second largest city in Henan in the future, I would like to express my views as a foreigner:

(1) Shangqiu is a national comprehensive transportation hub with national macro-planning, second only to Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, in Henan Province. In view of this factor, I personally think that Shangqiu has great potential to become the second largest city in Henan Province (excluding the provincial capital).

The reason lies in Shangqiu's superior geographical location, which is located at the junction of Henan, Shandong and Anhui provinces and meets the conditions for building a regional central city.

(2) Shangqiu's total population advantage. When the population window comes, it is very easy for Shangqiu to build a megacity once it gets major policy support.

According to the existing standards, the lower limit of the total population of megacities is 5 million. If Shangqiu can speed up the construction of a modern city, enhance its comprehensive strength, accelerate the layout of industrialization, and form the strategic orientation of a regional center, it is only a matter of course.

(3) Based on the status of the national comprehensive transportation hub, Shangqiu should promote the characteristic planning of the transportation economic zone, build the industrial transfer base of the Bohai Economic Circle and the fulcrum investment zone of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, and take the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone as the focus of attracting investment, so as to build it into a transfer industrial cluster.

As a result, Shangqiu has expanded its attraction in neighboring cities with the help of the integration effect of production and city. Formulate high-quality policies to attract Shangqiu citizens to return to their hometowns for entrepreneurship and employment, and strive to enhance Shangqiu's weight in the border areas of Henan, Shandong and Anhui.

In addition, we will strive to integrate into the Central Plains urban agglomeration and superimpose strategic cooperation opportunities such as Huaihai Economic Zone.

At the same time, strengthen exchanges with Zhengzhou, strive to set up Shangqiu area of Henan Free Trade Zone, and drive heavy assets to actively settle down.

Shangqiu is an important material distribution center and business center in the country determined by the Henan provincial government.

Shangqiu

It is a regional logistics center city. It is the prefecture-level city closest to the sea in Henan Province, one of the node cities of the national "Belt and Road" and the "two vertical and two horizontal economic belts" rising in central China, and the bridgehead for the Central Plains to undertake industrial transfer in coastal areas. Beijing-Kowloon Railway and Longhai Railway, National Highway 3 10 and National Highway 105, Lianhuo Expressway and Jiguang Expressway meet in Shangqiu, forming a golden "cross" transportation network. From June 2065438 to June 2005, Shangqiu was listed as one of the 66 regional circulation node cities in the national circulation node city layout planning.

It is the second largest railway station in Henan Province after Zhengzhou Station. Shangqiu South Station is a passenger station on the Beijing-Kowloon Railway. Shangqiu North Station is the marshalling station of Beijing-Kowloon Railway. Shangqiu West Station is the freight station of Longhai Railway.

On the afternoon of February 17, Shangqiu City and Zhengzhou Railway Bureau signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, and the two sides reached an understanding on building a comprehensive hub city. According to the agreement, the two sides will speed up the renovation of the south station building of Shangqiu Railway Station, the construction of Shangqiu motor vehicle declaration, the construction of Shangqiu logistics base, the demolition and resettlement of Shangqiu high-speed railway, the construction of the station building of Shanghexing Shangqiu New District, the declaration of the first-class railway port in Shangqiu City and the combined transportation of public and rail.

Not necessarily, I can only say that there are great opportunities for development.

The biggest obstacle to Shangqiu's development is Nanyang Luoyang. Zhengzhou is the capital of Henan Province. As the core city of the Central Plains urban agglomeration, there is no doubt that the development of Zhengzhou ranks first in Henan. As for the second largest city, it's hard to say who it is now.

Luoyang, Henan Province is developing rapidly at present, with the simultaneous development of tourism and industry and improved traffic. Obviously, ground transportation can no longer meet the needs of Luoyang people. It is understood that the Luoyang subway is also under construction and will be completed in 2020. The traffic in Luoyang is not as good as that in Shangqiu, but Shangqiu subway is still under planning, but Luoyang is already under construction.

Let's talk about Xinxiang. As an important industrial city, we have heard of many enterprises in Xinxiang since childhood, such as Jinlong Group, Xinfei Group, Hualan Bio, Xinlianxin Fertilizer and so on. Therefore, Xinxiang's economic development is particularly fast, once surpassing Kaifeng to rival Luoyang, Shangqiu's economic development is not as fast as theirs, Shangqiu has a small industrial base, and Shangqiu develops light industry manufacturing and agriculture.

Let's talk about population. The population of Shangqiu can only be ranked in the middle reaches in Henan Province. After all, it is a fourth-tier city. Xinxiang and Luoyang are both more populous than Shangqiu, and their city popularity is relatively low. There are peony flowers in Luoyang every year, and Longmen Grottoes receive more Chinese and foreign tourists every year.

It is difficult for Shangqiu to develop into the second largest city in Henan, but it is still possible to seize the opportunity and meet the challenge. Only when we have tried everything can we know the result.

Speaking of the prospect of Shangqiu, I was really helpless before. Whether it is location or other advantages such as resources, it is reasonable to say that it should not be stuck in the economy of Henan Province. Always in tepid development, sometimes when it comes to the development of Shangqiu, there are many refutations.

Although the trend of economic growth in recent years is not great, it is growing steadily, with a small increase, but it is relatively solid. Of course, it is not among the best in Henan Province, but we can't doubt its economic prospects or have no confidence at all.

Economy is the center of production and construction, which is unchanged, but other problems can not be ignored, such as environmental management, which is the key work of Shangqiu in the past two years. It turns out that the Zhongmin River, Baohe River and black and smelly river water in the city have been cleaned up, and parks and roadsides have been afforested. Unlike the so-called rare trees, most of them are native trees, and the climate is suitable for growing here. Moreover, urban planning is more reasonable than before, with more roads, leveling and widening. To put it bluntly, it is more like a city than before.

Finally, let me talk about why I am convinced that Shangqiu has a bright future. -High-speed rail.

Following the opening of Zhengzhou-Xuzhou High-speed Railway, Shanghe-Hangzhou High-speed Railway and Xiong Jing High-speed Railway are in full swing and will be completed and opened to traffic one after another. Just now, I saw a good news. Xicheng high-speed railway stopped at Shangqiu Station on February 28th, and the journey from Shangqiu to Chengdu was shortened from ten hours to several hours. It seems that Chongqing also has it. There are two routes from Shangqiu to Beijing, both in the morning. There is a high-speed train to Beijing this afternoon, but it is necessary.

More and more high-speed trains are out of service. Through Shangqiu, I personally think that the rise of Shangqiu lies in the high-speed rail at this level and the Shangqiu airport that will be built soon. I hope we can make good use of these resources, make Shangqiu stand erect in Henan and make the Pearl of East Henan truly shine.

Although I am also from Shangqiu, to be honest, it is really unlikely that Shangqiu will become the second child in Henan, and at most it will be the third child!

Location: Shangqiu is located in the easternmost part of Henan Province, bordering Shandong in the north and Anhui in the southeast. At present, Shangqiu itself is underdeveloped, and its radiation to other parts of Henan Province can't go up. People in the Central Plains are more homesick (southern Shandong and northern Anhui belong to the Central Plains), and it is unlikely that people from Shandong and Anhui will go out to Shangqiu for development. Zhengzhou, located in Henan, has become the provincial capital, which is also conducive to attracting talents.

Longhai and Jingjiu in Shangqiu are different from Longhai and Jingguang in Zhengzhou. Many first-tier cities in Beijing and Guangzhou are relatively influential cities, but Beijing-Kowloon is not. There are Zhengzhou in the west of Shangqiu and Xuzhou in the east, all of which are very influential transportation hubs. Shangqiu is really hard to find food between them.

Why can't it be the second in Henan? Because of Luoyang! Luoyang's popularity and influence in China far exceeds Shangqiu, which is the ancient capital of 13. Shangqiu is inferior to Luoyang in culture, industry, tourism and education. Shangqiu has great development potential, but at the same time of its own development, others are also booming. Although Shangqiu is a national regional central city, so is Luoyang, which also has the title of sub-central city of Central Plains urban agglomeration.

Other cities are either too close to Zhengzhou or a little farther away. Although Shangqiu is also on the edge of Henan, it is the closest city to the coast of Henan. In China, the economic development in the east is better than that in the west, and the wealth is more in the southeast coast. Therefore, Shangqiu becomes the third city in Henan, which is worth fighting for.

The only thing that can make Shangqiu the second place in Henan is traffic, but Shangqiu is not Zhengzhou. It only has transportation, which is not enough to become the second largest city in Henan, and there is almost no possibility of becoming the second largest city in Henan. At present, no matter how far it is from Luoyang, the second largest city in Henan Province, even if it is far from Nanyang and Xuchang, it basically does not have the foundation and potential to become the second largest city in Henan Province.

The future development prospect of Shangqiu is still very good. After all, Shangqiu is a populous city with a total population of nearly 9 million, and the demographic dividend advantage is particularly obvious. Shangqiu used to be a big agricultural city, so its economic strength was not strong, but today its development potential has risen rapidly, because Shangqiu has vigorously introduced outstanding foreign enterprises to settle in Shangqiu in recent years.

For example, the traffic advantage of Shangqiu City is particularly obvious, so Shangqiu makes great efforts to build industrial clusters by taking advantage of convenient transportation, and provides cheap labor for enterprises by preparing factories and infrastructure construction in advance. Although the wage level can't be compared with the southeast coastal areas, it is much better than farming at home in the past. Taking Suixian County in Shangqiu as an example, Zhongyuan Shoes Capital and Electronic Information Industrial Park were built, and many famous brands such as Anta, 36 1, Nike and Li Ning were introduced. It has also introduced many electronic information industries such as Foxconn and Gree. It is believed that the establishment of industrial clusters will inevitably promote more migrant workers to go home for employment and entrepreneurship.

According to the state's current reply on Shangqiu in the State Council, the population will exceed 3.8 million. At present, the situation is similar to Luoyang, and it will surpass Luoyang sooner or later. Shangqiu has a population of 9.7 million, second only to Nanyang. Nanyang is a basin, and the development space is blocked ... Ten years later, we don't have to answer this question. The speed of the double cross high-speed rail will make everyone shine. It turns out that transportation and location are the advantages of urban development.

Shangqiu is a poor county, surrounded by poor cities, Heze, Zhoukou and Bozhou. The only shortcut to build Shangqiu is to build the capital to help the poor. It is planned to be the capital and renamed Bojing.

Advantages of Shangqiu as the capital;

At present, Shangqiu people have been drawing water from the Yellow River for decades. Once it becomes a national strategy, it will definitely be a qualitative leap.
