What race are Tibetans?

Tibetans belong to the Tubo type of East Asian race, with high eyebrow bone, aquiline nose (or straight nose) and large nose process. Tall, thin, thin. Many ancient cultural sites have also been discovered and excavated in Nyalam, Dingri, Shenzha, Linzhi and Medog. It shows that humans lived here from 7 thousand to 20 thousand years ago in Tibet.

But this is not enough to explain the problem, because the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is the highest and largest plateau in the world, and its harsh cold and oxygen-deficient environment poses a great challenge to human survival. Tibetans mainly live in high altitude areas on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. In prehistoric times without written records, when and how did human beings live in high-altitude areas of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau all the year round?

The "man" mentioned here is the ancestor of Tibetans, which is a major scientific issue of concern to the academic community and the public, and is of great significance to understanding the mechanism of human adaptation to cold and oxygen-deficient environment and the origin of Tibetans.

Professor Chen Fahu of Lanzhou University spent ten years systematically investigating the prehistoric sites in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its surrounding areas, and put forward a three-step model of prehistoric human diffusion to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau: 20,000 years ago, humans began to hunt seasonally in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau; 5200 years ago, it spread from the Loess Plateau in China on a large scale and settled in the valley area in the northeast of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. 3600 years ago, under the background of cold and dry climate, they further settled permanently in high altitude areas.
