There are interesting things on both sides of Guigang River.

Datengxia is located in the lower reaches of Qianjiang River, and the exit is about 8 kilometers away from Guiping County. The canyon is 44 kilometers long, with Hengshiji at the junction of Guiping and Wuxuan counties as the entrance and Nutan as the exit, all in the county. There are towering peaks, rapids, steep slopes, deep valleys, cliffs, cliffs and tributaries on both sides of the canyon. In summer, the beach waves roll and beat the coast; Autumn is the most typical canyon scenery in Guangxi, with blue waves and shining mountains and rivers.

Xu Xiake, a famous geographer in Ming Dynasty, once traveled here and wrote the article Travel Notes of Datengxia. In the early Ming Dynasty, a large-scale peasant uprising of Yao nationality broke out in Datengxia. The insurgents have been fighting for nearly 200 years. Bitan, Renxianting, Sanmeidong and the nine floors on the north bank of the canyon were all ancient battlefields of that year. Bow and crossbow beach is located at the exit of Datengxia, named after the dangerous water on the beach like a crossbow. On both sides of the reef, underwater reefs are everywhere, spinning around and rolling back and forth, and the danger is endless.

This is the most dangerous beach in Dateng Gorge. In the past, when ships sailed here, tourists often burned incense and recited Buddha. There is a Wang Gan Temple on the north bank of the canyon, which also means praying for the Buddha to bless peace. However, accidents of ships hitting rocks and sinking still occur from time to time. After liberation, after several dredging, the water potential slowed down and navigation facilities were added, but it was still not suitable for night navigation.
