Since Filipino maids are so famous, it actually reflects that many people in the Philippines work abroad, otherwise there would be no such thing as Filipino maids. So why do so many people in the Philippines go abroad to work?

The first is the reason for the poor domestic economy in the Philippines. If your domestic economy is good, who will work abroad? This is not a sin! Secondly, the Philippines has adopted a policy of opening up the export of labor force to the outside world. The Philippine government has no restrictions on domestic workers going out to make a living, so many Filipinos will go to other countries to work if they have the ability. Otherwise, we will grow bananas in our own country.

Then there are Filipinos themselves. They have a mature English education, and many people's English is quite good. It is also convenient to go abroad. It's not a big problem to work outside and communicate with people more.

There are also cultural problems in the Philippines itself. The Philippines was colonized by Spain, the United States, Japan and other countries, which also brought different cultures to the Philippines. These cultures are all integrated into the local culture of the Philippines. Openness, tolerance and integration are one of their cultures, so this is also what they subconsciously want to work abroad.
