My husband is an employee of a Chinese-funded organization in Portugal. How can I apply for a visa if I accompany him?

Long term visa

Applicants need to provide the following materials, which are suitable for applying for various long-term visas.

L 1 signed by the applicant, complete application form, two photos, 3.5x4.5 on white background, taken recently 12 months.

L Passport (valid for not less than 3 months after the expiration of the proposed visa, and must have at least two blank visa pages) and personal information page. If you have an extension page and a visa from other countries, you need a copy.

L notarized certificate of China with no criminal record (translated into English or Portuguese) and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Portuguese Embassy in China (note: applicants who stay in other countries for more than one year must show that they have no criminal record during their stay).

L the original household registration book and copies of all pages with contents and English or Portuguese translations.

L hotel reservation confirmation form

L proof of the applicant's financial status

L air ticket reservation form

The original and photocopy of the medical insurance with the minimum amount of 30,000 euros or 300,000 yuan must cover the actual stay time in Schengen District.

L Certificate of academic qualifications/professional qualifications (translated into English or Portuguese), which is double-certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Portuguese Embassy in China (visa applicants on the grounds of going abroad for medical treatment or accompanying sick family members do not need to provide this document).

Note:/kloc-Applicants under the age of 0/6 without civil capacity must show their parents/legal guardians' consent. No proof of criminal record is required.

Family reunion visa

L Original approval issued by Portuguese Immigration Bureau (foreign abbreviation SEF)

L Comply with Articles 98 and 99 of Portuguese Regulation 23/2007.

Marriage certificate, if applicable, and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Portuguese Embassy in China.

Birth certificate, if applicable, certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Portuguese Embassy in China.

L Notarial certificate of kinship, and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Portuguese Embassy in China.

If parents are dependent on their children, they must show relevant certificates to prove that parents are financially dependent on their children in Portugal.

Schengen and national visa (excluding family reunion): Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 to 12:00.

Family reunion visa: Tuesday 14:30 to 17:00.
