Yongcheng history

Yongcheng has a long history and rich cultural heritage.

As early as more than 4000 years ago, people have lived together, with Gou Mountain in Zhou, Mang Mountain, Lang Mountain and Gou Mountain in Qin and Qiu.

Yongcheng Jinxian was formerly known as Mafucheng. According to the Records of the City, during the four or five years of the Sui Dynasty, the Huaihe River and Bianhe River basins were flooded, and most cities were flooded.

In March, 2006, Yang Di went down the Bianhe River by dragon boat, only seeing Mafu City intact along the way. Yang Di casually said, "Five years of floods have destroyed many cities, and only Mafu is an eternal city.

The emperor's words were eloquent, and Ma Fucheng was changed to Yongcheng from now on.

Yongcheng was founded in the sixth year of the Sui Dynasty (AD 6 10).

It has a history of 1398.

At the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, Confucius traveled around the world, passing through Yongcheng and sheltering from the rain in Mangdang Mountain, leaving behind Fuzi Mountain and a reading desk.

At the end of Qin Dynasty, Han and Liu Bang staged a snake-cutting uprising in Mangdang Mountain, Yongcheng, and founded the Millennium Emperor Industry.

Xiao He, the prime minister of Han Dynasty, made the first code of China in Yongcheng, leaving Xiao He's legislative program. The upper floor of the legislative platform is the accumulation of Shang Dynasty, and the lower floor is the remains of the late Longshan culture in Henan Province.

Li Xianfang, a famous poet in the Ming Dynasty, wrote on his way to Yongcheng in Shangqiu: in March, the breeze was blowing and the waves on the banks of the Yellow River were flat at dusk; This village used to go all the way to Yongcheng, and willows were hung everywhere.

Song Yu, an Hanlin in the Song Dynasty, left the poem "Crossing Yongcheng": I have traveled dozens of miles in the south of the Yangtze River, so the scenery in my garden is twice as close to my feelings; Jujube flowers are messy, and flowers are fragrant all the way to Yongcheng.
