The validity period of the residence card is divided into one year, two years or three years, and the longest is not more than three years. If the appeal conditions are met, the card can be renewed in Hungary when it expires, and the longest renewal time is no more than three years.

Two, parents reunion residence card to permanent residence card application conditions shall prevail.

According to the Hungarian immigration law, people with permanent residence status and immediate family members can apply for permanent residence as long as they have lived in Hungary for one year (a total of nine months each year), and the immigration bureau can approve permanent residence.

However, if the Immigration Bureau feels that it cannot fully meet the financial dependence (for example, parents have pensions and other children to support in China, etc.). ), you can only apply for permanent residence according to other provisions under the same article of the immigration law, that is, people who have lived in Hungary for three years (a total of nine months each year). According to this article, theoretically, after living in Hungary for three years with a residence card, you have the right to apply for permanent residence.

Three, parents reunion residence card application documents requirements

The documents required for parents' family reunion to apply for residence permit (residence permit) are as follows:

Applicant provides: passport, photo, birth certificate, power of attorney, application form, etc.

ü The inviter should provide: proof of kinship, copy of permanent residence card, proof of Hungarian address, etc.

Dependence certificate: a certificate issued by the relevant department of China, which proves that the applicant needs the continuous financial support of the guarantor.
