The power of suffering (generation order)

In the collection and research of the oral history of farmers in China in the second half of the 2th century, we often came into contact with the story of suffering, and we often realized the bitter taste-the thick suffering, which made people feel it day by day. These are inevitably heavy.

When it comes to heaviness, I can't help thinking of a heavy work-La Misère du Monde, 1993). Pierre Bourdieu (193-22), the world's most important thinker and 22 collaborators, presented the sufferings of ordinary people in contemporary society, which provided important enlightenment for us to record and study oral history. In 1999, the English version of this book, based on a large-scale survey of social sufferings, was published, entitled The Weight of the World: Social Suffering in Contemporary Society.
