When did Piama come back?

The word "Pianma" comes from Jingpo language, and the popular saying is "the place where boards are stacked" and "the place where wood is stacked". The reason for the name of the town may be related to the rich local trees and natural resources. Now Pianma Town belongs to Lushui City, Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province.

For the history of China, the ownership of Pianma has never been a problem. Pianma is the territory of China, and we have historical evidence to prove it. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, Pianma was under the jurisdiction of Nanzhao, the later Dali Kingdom, and the Yuan Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of the military and political headquarters of Yunlong Hall in Yunnan Province. In the fifth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, it was managed by Chashan's chief officer, and in the Qing Dynasty it was managed by Yongchang's chief chieftain.

But at the end of Qing Dynasty, Pianma Town was actually occupied by Myanmar after being occupied by Britain until the founding of New China. From 65438 to 0960, China and Myanmar signed a border treaty through friendly consultations, and Malaysia was returned to China and the motherland. After that, the two countries carried out a comprehensive demarcation of the border and set up boundary markers. Since then, the border issue that plagued China and Myanmar has ceased to exist.
