Marriage before immigration or after immigration?

Immigration experts said: In fact, the core idea of spouse immigration trial is to examine the authenticity of the relationship between the two. As long as the relationship is true and the evidence is sufficient, the success rate of visa is the same whether you are married or not. If the evidence is insufficient, even if you have got a marriage certificate, it will not help you get a visa. On the other hand, if two people have been in contact for a certain time and degree, but they are not married in China and are going to get married in Britain, in this case, if the materials provided are enough to convince the visa officer, the visa officer will speed up the examination and approval.

Non-EU spouses applying for British immigration need to submit basic English proficiency certificates when applying for a marriage visa.

Such a requirement will affect non-EU spouses who apply for a marriage visa to come to Britain to reunite with their other half. The minimum entry threshold is A 1 level stipulated in the pan-European language framework, that is, having the most basic oral English communication ability, being able to understand simple daily conversations and being able to respond.

At present, a spouse visa applicant must meet the following three conditions at the same time to submit a language certificate:

The applicant is a non-EU national;

Having a marriage relationship or a stable love relationship with a British citizen or a British resident;

The applicant wishes to enter or stay in the UK as a husband, wife, cohabitant, fiance (wife), same-sex cohabitant or engaged partner.

Non-EU applicants from English-speaking countries, applicants over the age of 65, applicants who cannot meet the requirements due to physical or mental reasons, and applicants with English bachelor's degrees (master's and doctoral degrees are not included in the reference) are excluded.

Applicants only need to provide proof of English listening and speaking ability. The cost of taking the English exam will be borne by the applicant. The Ministry of Interior recognizes English tests higher than A 1, such as TOEFL, TOEFL, ESOL, IELTS and Business English Certificate, which are well known to China people.
