According to the official WeChat news of the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, recently, the Ministry of Public Security issued the List of Spouses, Children and Spouses of the People's Police of Public Security Organs (Trial), requiring public security organs at all levels to regulate their spouses' business behavior and regard the children of cadres (employees) and their spouses as an important political task of strictly administering the party and police in an all-round way and a key link to promote the education and rectification of the public security team, and strive to forge a loyal and clean public security iron army.

The List of Prohibited Businessmen defines five types of prohibited businesses for spouses, children and spouses of so-called business-run enterprises and public security police. The scope of prohibition mainly involves the business-run enterprise activities that are closely related to public security work and may affect the strict and fair law enforcement of public security organs.

The list of prohibited businesses requires that the spouses, children and their spouses of cadres (including civil servants) at or above the department (bureau) level of the public security system shall apply the relevant provisions of the Organization Department of the Central Committee and the Organization Department of local party committees on regulating the business behavior of spouses, children and their spouses of leading cadres; Spouses, children and spouses of police officers below division level in public security organs at all levels shall not engage in business-run enterprise activities within the business scope under the jurisdiction of the police department where the police officers are located; Public security police shall not use their authority or position to provide convenience and preferential conditions for close relatives and other specific related parties to run businesses, or seek benefits for their businesses.
