Are Canaanites black people who originated in sub-Saharan Africa?
Unfortunately, however, they will eventually focus on the authentic and verifiable history and customs of Africa and black people, so the rich and so many people need better and stronger research instead of inciting people's legitimate resistance, and they are also very affected by all kinds of prejudice and suffering. In the past generation, like Jews, Palestinians and Arabs in the Levant (Egypt, I may add), generally speaking, all people are not only descendants of ancient civilization, but also descendants of culture. At least a few centuries ago, languages (such as Hebrew are also very obvious, and finally Canaanite still exists in Aramaic pockets) revived the language of the Syrian Levant and became the dominant language. For nearly 2,500 years, Coptic, the last stage of the Egyptian language, is still used as a liturgical language by Egyptian Christians.
Since we all naturally talk more about the empowerment of African society and culture by black pride and long-term prejudice, why do people try to create (or they will say, "save") identities that most blacks don't have and so-called ancestral connections? "Wrong" African black culture, tradition, polytheism and animism that are definitely not Abraham, their ancient and endogenous customs, beliefs and unique African aesthetics, do people try to establish a root full of difficulties with Canaanites and Israelis, but at the same time deny and cut it off? Just ... sad.
The characters depicted in ancient Phoenician art look like other ancient Near East people and many modern Levites (Phoenicians are basically Canaanites, not believing in monotheism like Israelis, and not being absorbed into their new identities like later tribes/races). So there are not many surprises, but it is very popular to confirm that scientific knowledge has been established. When a large number of DNA samples from Lebanon, Israel and Syria were traced back to the Bronze Age (Canaan Period), they were extracted, analyzed and compared with other modern and ancient individual genomes.
Well, it turns out that today's Don and Mesopotamia are the same as Jews, Samaritans and Assyrians in the Near East. Of course, Arabs (Christians and Muslims, especially the former) do not have as many slaves as possible. They are almost the same people as Muslims in the past 1400 years, with only a few minor changes.
Except for some genetic additives and later immigrants, the relative frequency of some physical characteristics of the population may change slightly due to the flow, migration and conquest of the population. The most important thing is that the population gradually reduces the skin color, which still begins to get sick and lasts until the last year in some parts of the world (that is, 10000 years ago).
However, under the extremely thin skin of people, the ancient Levant and the modern Levant are still homologous to a great extent. The most similar seems to be the Samaritans (see the picture below), who have historically intermarried, acted secretly and often discriminated against the ethnic minorities who have stayed in Israel since ancient times. These factors may explain why they are extremely conservative about the ancient genetic composition of Levant.
