What is the processing procedure for technology selection?

The first step is for the applicant to fill in the online EOI form for technical visa application. They need to indicate the type of immigrants they are interested in. All the details will be stored in a database and managed by the Immigration Bureau. State and local governments and approved employers can only access the data of applicants who are interested in sponsoring immigrants.

(1) The applicant fills in EOI；; ;

(2) For independent/family-sponsored immigrants, the main basis for passing the selection is the scoring test. The employer will search the database and contact the applicant directly, and the state territorial government will personally search the database and select the applicant;

(3) For eligible applicants selected by independent/family sponsored immigrants and state and regional governments, the system will also automatically send invitations. Then the invitee or applicant submits the visa application according to the normal procedure.

EOIs selected in the second step will be invited to submit a visa application. Applicants will be selected by the Immigration Bureau to apply for an independent or family skilled immigrant visa, or by state government agencies to apply for a state or local sponsored visa. At the same time, employers may contact them to provide them with permanent employer-sponsored immigrants or 457 visas.

EOI's database will provide the main information of immigrants, help employers to simply identify and compare, and contact outstanding skilled workers with potential.

If the state government has a job vacancy approved by the Immigration Bureau, they will also search the database for the right person. Employers can use the current application procedures to sponsor immigrants, including applicants selected from the selection plan.
