What should I pay attention to when I travel to Peru and apply for a tourist visa in Peru?

1. China citizens with diplomatic and official passports can visit Peru visa-free. Ordinary official passports and holders of ordinary passports must apply for visas.

2. Visas are divided into "short-term" and "residence" visas. "Short-term" visas include tourist and business visas; "Residence" visas such as work, student and family reunion visas must be applied directly in Peru.

3. Tourist visas cannot be extended (except for Angolan citizens and their foreign nationals).

4. Holders of valid study, work and investment visas in Peru can apply to the Immigration Bureau for corresponding residence status.
