Qian Shan Wanli Tea Ceremony Introduction Speech

I am honored to stand here and make a speech. My theme is "Tea Culture in China".

Do you know the names of the three most famous drinks in the world? They are tea, coffee and cocoa. China is the hometown where tea has become a national drink. In other words, tea basically came from China. The tea culture in China has a history of thousands of years, which can be traced back to ancient times. Then, it flourished in the Tang and Song Dynasties.

At first, our ancients found that tea excited them, but they thought that drinking too much was harmful to morality. With the passage of time, tea has become like-minded people, and Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism are prevalent. Until the Tang Dynasty, tea culture began to take shape. In the Song Dynasty, tea culture began to flourish. When people immigrate, they will provide tea. When people are engaged, they will send tea. When people get married, they have to take care of their tea. Tea has become an important part of their daily life.

In China, the main varieties of tea are green tea, black tea, oolong tea, scented tea, white tea, yellow tea and black tea. In the early days, people in China boiled tea with water and other ingredients, such as salt and ginger. Then they grind the dried leaves into powder and beat them with hot water. Until the Ming Dynasty, it was a common practice to put loose tea leaves into teapots, then pour them into bowls for drinking and inject liquid. Nowadays, we make different teas in different ways. For centuries, China has developed an extraordinary tea culture, which can be compared with western culture.

Tea is not only delicious, but also beneficial to our health, so it is loved by many people at home and abroad. Different kinds of tea have different functions and make different contributions to our health. For example, China's national drinking of green tea can sober up, relieve summer heat, refresh and whiten the skin. Black tea, the second category, can warm the stomach, be good for the heart and make bones stronger. Black tea can refresh you in the morning, lower your blood pressure and help you lose weight. Oolong tea is good for your health and diet. Tea has good medicinal value, and has the functions of anticancer, lowering blood pressure, improving vision, inhibiting diseases and relieving stress.

Tea culture and its development not only embodies the food culture, but also embodies the spiritual characteristics of China.

China is a country with a long history of civilization and etiquette. It is necessary to make tea and supply it to guests whenever they visit. When drinking tea, you can ask their preferences, what kind of tea they like, and drink tea with the cup that suits them best. In the process of making tea, the host should pay close attention to how much water is left in the cup and the kettle. Usually, if tea is a teacup, drink half a cup of boiled water; So as to keep the cup as warm and pleasant as the smell of tea.

Tea culture plays an indispensable role in promoting the international cultural exchange between China and other countries, enriching the cultural life in China and promoting the spiritual civilization construction in China. In a word, tea culture is the essence of China's cultural history. The spirit of tea penetrated into the court and society, and entered China's poetry, painting, calligraphy, religion and medicine. For thousands of years, China has not only accumulated a great deal of material culture of tea planting and production, but also accumulated rich spiritual culture of tea, which is a unique tea culture in China.
