Brief introduction of districts in Yongding town
Shang 'an Village is now the largest administrative village in Yongding Town and the predecessor of Yongding Town Government. 1992 Shang' an village was expropriated by the district government for the construction of Shilong industrial zone. In the same year, Shang 'an Village also changed from farming to light industry, handicraft industry, construction industry and service industry. Historically, landing was originally a ferry crossing the Yongding River. Pilgrims crossing the river disembark, but don't know the place name, so they call this area "landing", hence the name "landing village". There is an ancient street in Shang 'an Village called Shang 'an Street, which is an ancient road leading to Jietai Temple in Tanzhe Temple. The old temple in the village divided the old street into East Street and West Street. With the development of the shore, South Street, North Back Street (Chang 'an Street), Ghost Street and New Street appeared. There are two big trees in the old temple in the village, which can witness the long history of the village (Liao and Song Dynasties). It is said that the two big trees in the temple are ginkgo trees, one female and one male-that is, the couple tree is as famous as the imperial tree in Tanzhe Temple. Fengcun, the richest village in Mentougou District, took 15 years to complete the road that some economically developed villages in China took 30 years to complete. According to Wan Bu Zaji, fengcun was a village in the Ming Dynasty. According to the old man in the village, although the Feng family who immigrated from Shanxi in fengcun was famous, there were fewer Feng families in the village later, but it was still "Lee who looked after the grave". The Li family originally came from "under the big pagoda tree in Shanxi", and gradually developed their family business by looking at the graveyard.
There are many ancient temples in Fengcun. Fengcun West was originally built in Baolin Temple in Liao Dynasty, with triple halls, but there are still sites in the courtyard of Sixth Pharmaceutical Factory. There used to be a Tianshan ancestral temple in Tiantai Mountain in the north of the village, leaving only ruins. (Common name: Li Yuanzhuang)
Before liberation, it belonged to "Li Yuanzhuang Township" in the sixth district of wanping county. Li Yuanzhuang is named after a chestnut tree next to the ancient temple in the west of the village. Li Yuanzhuang was originally a tenant village of Jietai Temple, and the "Fengfu Temple" in the west of the village was the lower house of Jietai Temple. In the north of the village is the tomb of Tan Xinpei, a famous Peking Opera actor. Tan Xinpei was proficient in Buddhism and was ordained in Jietai Temple during Guangxu period. In his later years, he suggested to Miao, the host of Jietai Temple at that time: "I would like to borrow the land in the temple and be a companion city forever, so that I can get Zen grace after a hundred years." There is also a mass grave outside the village. At that time, Kuomintang troops shot and killed a large number of innocent people outside the village, and then buried them here, only one survived. (Former names: Caogezhuang, Caojiazhuang)
Caogezhuang area is rectangular with an area of 0.04 square kilometers. There are two east-west main streets. The village is located in the plain on the west bank of Yongding River, with a flat terrain and an altitude of 89.5 meters. In the Ming Dynasty, it became a village, once named Cao Ge Zhuang and Caojiazhuang, and later renamed Cao Ge Zhuang, which is still in use today. The village was awarded the title of "capital civilized village" by Beijing Municipal Government for four consecutive years from 1994, and the title of "well-off village" by Mentougou District Government from 1997.
* Caogezhuang Catholic Church is located in Caogezhuang Village, Mentougou District. It was founded in the seventh year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (188 1). Father Lu, who lives in Caogezhuang and works in Xishiku Church in Beijing, contacted four Lu families in Caogezhuang, named Joseph Hall. During the boxer movement, the church was burned down. In the last years of Xuan Tong, a French priest of Xishiku Church funded the reconstruction of the church in Caogezhuang, which is now the Catholic Church. At that time, it belonged to Changxindian parish, and Lu Demao, the nephew of Father Lu, presided over daily religious activities. There were about 300 members at that time. During the Cultural Revolution, Catholicism was forced to stop its activities, and the Caogezhuang Hall was converted into a production team warehouse. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the party's religious policy was implemented. 1995, Caogezhuang Hall was renovated and named "Sacred Heart Hall". 1995, Bishop Fu Tieshan opened the church. From 1996 to 1999, Father Feng served as a church, from 1999 to 1 1 till now, Father Feng served as a church. The West River of Yongding River flows through the east of the village, and Banqiao has become the main channel connecting the east and west banks, which was also funded by Tanzhe Temple. Qiao Hu, who was in charge of care and maintenance, later settled here, forming a village, hence the name Qiaohuying.
* Before liberation, the Wang Yao Temple in Qiaohuying Village was very famous in Jingxi. Because it is unique to the local area, in the past, on April 28th, Yao Wang's birthday, villagers from 13 areas outside came to worship, and the leaders of Qiaohuying and Shanggan Village jointly held a ceremony to walk away, which was unprecedented. The old people's activity station is the former site of Wang Yao Temple, but there are not many remains except a few ancient trees. These ancient trees mainly include: 3 Sophora japonica trees, the largest of which belongs to second-class protection, and there are a number of them. The other two trees are on the south side of the "Great Temple Field", and one tree has died; Two catalpa trees are still strong (rare trees with beautiful flowers); There are two cypress trees, and the one near the east is dead.
During the Republic of China, Qiaohuying was the main road connecting Yongding area and Chengmen area. It can be seen on the map of Beijing urban area during the Republic of China that it was marked as Qiaohuying (the old name of the village). The irrigation canal at the junction of Xicun and Caogezhuang should be built in Ming Dynasty, and relevant water conservancy historical materials can be consulted. Commonly known as the big ditch, it has been replaced by a covered road. Water is diverted from the river sluice to the east of Putaozui (near the current motor vehicle inspection field) through the "drainage ditch", which was controlled by a gate in the 1990s. (Former names: He Zhuang, he jia zhuang)
Hegezhuang, referred to as "Hezhuang" for short, is said to be the first Hejia to live in this area, so it was called he jia zhuang's name locally, and later renamed Hegezhuang. There used to be an old temple in Hegezhuang village, but now it has become a private residence of villagers. Taiqing Taoist Temple remains at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain, about 1 km northwest of Hegezhuang Village. (Original name: Wang Jiacun)
Wangcun was originally a Wang family who immigrated from Shanxi to Yongding. Most families are kiln households, and many kiln workers live near Wangcun Coal Mine. It rained heavily in summer, coal mines closed down, and kiln workers reclaimed land nearby, gradually forming the present Wang Village.
* The kiln deity enshrined in Yueyan Temple in Wangcun is described in the beggar's Song of Kiln Music, "The earth road is like a Buddhist shrine, where three immortals are enshrined, with green mountains and green waters in the middle. You should know that the old man in the coal industry, with a dome light, a pickaxe and a pile of money upside down, is the kiln god of Yueyan Temple.
* International Dispute-In the 24th year of Guangxu reign of Qing Dynasty (1894), Yueyan Temple and the monk Guangrun sold the mountain farm, and Yueyan Temple Coal Mine was jointly organized by German Renard. Because of the conflict with the neighboring kiln, Yueyansi Coal Mine did not open, but it caused an international dispute between China and Germany. (Formerly known as "Li Jiayu")
Crotuo was originally named "Li Jiayu", and its name originated from the Ming Dynasty. Ma Huanghou, the Ming emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, was seriously ill and presided over Jietai Temple. In order to reward the person who presided over the meeting, Zhu Yuanzhang renamed a small mountain village under the Jietai Temple in Li Jiayu as "Keluotuo".
The meaning of Keluotuo includes five Buddhist holy places in China: Tanzhe Temple in Beijing, Jietai Temple, Keshan in Shanxi, Luoshan in Henan and Putuo Mountain in Zhejiang. Zhu Yuanzhang, the Ming emperor, connected Keshan, Luoshan and Putuo Mountain in one word, forming Keluotuo Mountain. Although Keluotuo village is small, it can include three Buddhist holy places outside Beijing. Mentougou, together with the nearby Tanzhe Temple and Jietai Temple, has become synonymous with the five Buddhist holy places in China. This is the origin of "Keluotuo" village. The Stone Buddha Cliff Statue Group is the only large cliff statue group in Beijing. Since the Ming Dynasty, Shi Fo Village has been recorded in history. It is a small village named after the Buddha statue on the cliff.
* Cliff statue is located on the cliff in the north of the village. There are 22 statues well preserved. According to "Scenery of Imperial Capital", Dongshan Cliff of Stone Buddha is the former site of Yongqing Temple. According to the old people in the village, the cliff statues in Shi Fo Village have long been included in books of many Buddhist countries, and the cliff statues in Shi Fo Village have long been famous overseas. (Original name: Qiupo)
Qiupo is located at the southernmost tip of Yongding town, and the village is located on the hillside on the east side of Maanshan in a hash shape. Located in the low mountain and half slope, 680 meters above sea level. It is said that in the past, beggars came to Jietai Temple to work and prayed for a hillside to settle down. The place was originally named "Qiupo" and later evolved into "Qiupo", which is still in use today. (Former name: Xincheng)
Dong and Xi Xin called it a village formed by the Yongding River breaking its banks. They first merged into a "new town" and became a village before the Ming Dynasty. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, the Yongding River flooded, and the flood washed away the new city, forming a new river (namely, the West Yongding River). Later, new villages were formed at both ends of the remaining new town, so there were two villages, Dongxin Scale and Xixin Scale. The people called the "new town" "Xin Shuo", and they slowly followed suit. (Formerly known as Wollongong)
There is a detailed record in Wanbu Miscellanies that Wollongong is all green rocks, but this mountain is unique and white. The ridge winds over twenty feet, like Wolong. Hence the name Wollongong. Later renamed as "Wollongong". According to the local old man, there is a dragon lying in the mountains. Its dragon tail is in Jietai Temple, with Wollongong as the leader. The faucet drinks water by Yongding River and cares about the flood of Yongding River. At the same time, Wanbu Miscellaneous Notes records that "the cemetery is forty-five miles west of the county seat, with the place names' Anzu' and Wollongong Xia (Wollongong). "
* 1 In April, 964, the site of "East Lake Forest Man" was discovered in Donghulin Village, Mentougou District, about110,000 years ago, which filled a gap in the history of human development since Peking Man and Neanderthal Man. Many ancient human sites have been found near Wolong Mountain in Mentougou, Yingshan Mountain in Fengtai and Gaojing Power Plant in Shijingshan District. Longkou, where Yongding River draws water, used to be the graveyard of Hou Shi, and Houjia is the most popular name in this village. Foreigners call it "Daqu Houjia". Hou Zhuangzi village is located at the northern end of rice fields, and there used to be a camel road passing through the village. East Banqiao (commonly known as Qiao Shan), which connects Yongding River in the east and Xihe Banqiao in the west, has become an important section of the ancient road connecting Dayu and Shijingshan. A few years ago, due to the construction of the Sixth Ring Road, the Xihe River was buried, and most of the residents of Houzhuangzi moved south. The new villa area opposite Sidaoqiao Daodi Primary School is Hou Zhuangzi New Village.
