Where does Zhangqiu Lee Ancestral Hall belong?
Li's Ancestral Hall is located in the south of Xiuhui Town, Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province. Founded in the early years of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty (1855), it has a history of 140 years. Judging from the foundation of the building, the existing buildings should be from the Qing Dynasty.
According to the records in the Li Family Tree revised in the 12th year of the Republic of China (1923), Li Yuyuan moved to Zhangqiu Village from Zaoqiang, Hebei Province in the Yuan Dynasty. The whole ancestral temple courtyard is 100 meters long from north to south and 22 meters wide from east to west, and is divided into two buildings. The main buildings in the front yard are the gate and the hall. On the hard top of the mountain, there are gray tiles, masonry and wooden structures, and the "Li Ancestral Hall" plaque 1 is hung on the door. There are five halls between the front yard and the back yard, with a width of 12.4 meters. Dougong is a five-story single-suspended, hard-topped, lime-soil tile, brick and stone structure building, which was originally used by the Li family as a place. There are brick walls on both sides of the hall, and there is an arched door on each brick wall. There is a big bluestone on the west side of the screen wall, which is as flat as a bed and named "Wolong Stone". According to legend, Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, once herded cattle here. In summer, he tried to lie on it, resting on the pillow and spreading his limbs like a "sky". There are two ancient pine trees in the hospital, standing side by side with two lying monuments. Legend has it that they were planted in the early Qing Dynasty. Now they are all over 0.4m in diameter and 8m in height. There are five back halls dedicated to ancestors. There is also a back door to the north to reach the ancestral grave, which is convenient for people to go in and out during the sacrifice. The main hall, memorial archway, back hall and Wolong stone are well preserved, which is the best existing building of the ancestral temple in this city. There are two Gu Song trees and two Sophora japonica trees in the backyard, both of which are more than 0.4m in diameter and 3m in height, and their branches are bent like a dragon. 1982, confirmed by Jinan Forestry Bureau as the crown of Jinan Sophora japonica. According to the records of the Li family tree, the Li family moved here from Yuan Dynasty to (1342). Genealogy shows that Li's ancestral hall was built in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and the twentieth year of the Republic of China (193 1).
