Are the ancestors of Burmese people from China?
In the total population of Myanmar, Burmese account for 60%, and Burmese are the largest ethnic group in Myanmar. However, the Burmese people are not the most primitive people living in this country, but developed from the White Wolf Qiang people in the history of China.
In the past, many ancient Qiang people lived on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China. In the Tang Dynasty, with the growing power of Tubo, they expanded everywhere and invaded the surrounding areas, causing these Qiang people living on the plateau to be forced into exile. In the process of fleeing for their lives, a group of Qiang people named White Wolf Qiang finally arrived in today's Myanmar after many twists and turns. They thrive here, intermarry with local aborigines and have children, and gradually evolve into Burmese here.
