How to handle SRRV in the Philippines?

Actually, I read the news and found that there are really many foreigners going to the Philippines. In fact, the Philippines is a very good place for immigrants, so SRRV is quite worth knowing. Let me introduce this policy to you today. Let's have a look.

What is 1.SRRV? The full name of SRRV is SpecialResidentRetiree 'sVisa, which is called "Special Residence Retirement Visa".

It must be noted that this is actually not a so-called green card.

It is a long-term visa designed for retirees from developed countries to come to the Philippines to enjoy cheap care, medical care or spend their old age safely.

The retirement age set in the Philippines is 35. As long as you are over 35 years old, have no criminal record and pay the relevant fees, you can have this retirement visa for the whole family and settle in the Philippines.

Second, what are the benefits of applying for SRRV? For me, there are mainly the following points:

1. You can live in the Philippines for a long time as a family, and you don't need a visa to enter and leave the country.

Children studying in the Philippines do not need to apply for a student visa.

3. If you have lived for more than 18 months for two consecutive years, you can obtain the status of overseas Chinese.

4. Overseas Chinese children do not need the college entrance examination to take the entrance examination for overseas Chinese students. You can also go directly to an international school when you return to China to study.

5. In the Philippines, you can enjoy the convenience of international driver's license, bank account opening and free exchange of US dollars.

Moreover, it will be much easier to apply for a visa in many places, so I won't explain them one by one.

Third, the cost of applying for SRRV We divide the total cost of applying for SRRV into the following parts:

Deposit+material preparation fee+application fee

Among them, the deposit is divided into:

$50,000 for the "standard plan"; Twenty thousand dollars for the smile project.

1, standard plan

People aged 35-49 should remit a deposit of $50,000 to PRA Retirement Bureau.

People over 50 should remit $20,000 to PRA.

Among them, $50,000 can be used to buy apartments, rent houses or use land for a long time.

If you are over 50 and only remit $20,000, you must make up $30,000, then $50,000, and then invest in buying or leasing.

There are European and American pensions, and those over 50 years old can make SRRV by remittance of 1 0,000 US dollars, but they still need to make 50,000 yuan to invest.

If you add your wife and children to more than three people, you need to remit an extra deposit of $65,438+$05,000 for each additional person.

For example, if you have a wife and three children, you have to pay 5+ 1.5*2=8, which means you have to remit a total of 80,000 dollars.

Finally, the money can be converted into investment funds for buying apartments and transferred to developers.

Step 2 smile plan

As long as you are over 35 years old, you can apply for a deposit of 20 thousand yuan.

But this $20,000 cannot be used for investment. Nor can it be converted into a standard plan.

If you want to get that 20 thousand knife back, you must cancel your SRRV first, and then PRA will return the money to you.

Material preparation: (we will open a separate post to explain in detail)

Application fee:

Your own application fee is $ 1400.

$300 per family member (wife or child)

For the first application, you must pay at least an annual fee of 1 year, 360 USD. This includes the applicant himself and two family members.

If there is one more family member, the annual fee is 100 USD.

For example, if you have a wife and three children, you have to pay an annual fee of $360+100*2=560.

Therefore, if it is a family of three, the application fee for the first visit is: 1400+300*2+360=2360 USD (please bring cash to PRA for application).

Note: A family of three can be you, your wife (or husband) and a child. Maybe it's you and two kids.

After the initial application, if you need to add other family members, you can also apply. However, the annual fee should be paid again immediately after the application. 、

For example, only you and your children applied for SRRV before. Six months later, your wife will go to PRA to reissue it, and then pay an annual fee of $360 to her family.

Fourth, the process sequence of applying for SRRV In my personal opinion, I think the reasonable time-saving methods can be as follows:

Step 1: Remit the deposit

After you decide to apply for SRRV, first, determine the amount of deposit you want to pay according to the type and number of people you want to choose, and then do everything possible to remit the full amount to PRA's account.

Step 2: Prepare the materials.

We will post the specific materials to be prepared separately.

It should be noted that the process of material notarization and double certification is somewhat complicated and lengthy. It is best to reserve time and determine the time to go to PRA in the Philippines after all the materials are complete.

During the preparation of materials, send an email to ask whether PRA has received the deposit remittance.

Step 3: Go to the Philippines.

Send all materials to PRA offices all over the Philippines. During this period, you must stay in the Philippines for more than 45 days to get your SRRV. If you feel that the time is too long, you can only find a way to find an expedited agent. We will explain it separately when we manually deal with the detailed explanation of SRRV (Part II).

Noun interpretation double authentication: you need proof materials, you need them.

1. Go to the notary office to handle the notarial certificate translated into English first.

2. Then take the notarial certificate to the foreign affairs office of the city where the household registration is located for consular certification.

3. Get it to the Philippine Consulate for certification.

It should be added that, generally speaking,

1. The notarization of marriage certificate can be done in the notary office of the issuing city or in the notary office of the city where the household registration is located (it takes a long time to send a letter to verify).

2. If there is no criminal certificate, go to the police station where the household registration is located.

3. Notarization of proof of no crime shall be handled in the notary office of the city where the household registration is located. Notary offices do not accept certificates issued by foreign institutions.

4. The notarization of birth certificate shall be handled at the municipal notary office where the household registration is located. Notary offices do not accept certificates issued by foreign institutions.

5. The consular certification of the foreign affairs office shall be handled in the city where the notary office is located, and the foreign affairs office shall not accept the notarial certificate of the foreign affairs office.

Materials to be prepared for handling SRRV are as follows:

Single person handling

1, and your own certificate of innocence is double-authenticated.

2. 12 my 2*2-inch registration photo with white background within half a year.

Add a spouse to handle it.

3, your spouse's proof of no crime is double-certified.

4. 12 spouse's 2*2-inch registration photo with white background within half a year.

5. Your marriage certificate is double-certified.

Add children to handle it.

6. The child's birth certificate is double-certified.

7. 12 Children's 2*2-inch registration photos with white background within half a year.

8./kloc-children aged 0/6-20 need to apply for a certificate of no crime and double certificates (/kloc-children under 0/6 don't need it).

Note: If all family members are in the same household registration book, and the head of the household is you, then 5 and 6 will be merged into the translation notarization and double authentication of your household registration book. Because the hukou is enough to prove your relationship between husband and wife and children.

Prepare the above materials, take all materials with you, and arrange to go to PRRA office in Philippines for SRRV with your family for more than 45 days.
