Because the reservoir area is less affected by natural disasters, the streams around the reservoir are full of fresh water, rich in nutrients, and the salinity of seawater is reduced, which is conducive to the growth of aquatic products. Cultured prawns, perch, yellow croaker and shellfish are harvested all year round. According to incomplete statistics, the annual output value of aquaculture in the reservoir area is150,000 yuan.
