Internal differences of Changshu dialect

Compared with Wuxi, Jiangyin, Zhangjiagang and other surrounding areas, Changshu dialect has a good internal unity as a whole.

1, which can be divided into two parts. The feature of westerns is that the words pig and Zhang are pronounced chicken and ginger. The third person in some parts of East China reads gei, not gei, but ghei.

2. Urban-rural differences. The city belongs to Suzhou and Shanghai, with a pinch of mouths. There are no towns and villages around, so words such as language and region are all pronounced as mud and bullying.

3. Villages and towns such as Xinzhuang and Yangyuan, which are close to Suzhou (Wuxian), often have Suzhou accents (except softly, the third person in some areas of Xinzhuang doesn't even say the typical "ditch" gei in Changshu, but uses the slang "Li" in Suzhou), and towns such as Hengjing (Ludang) are also flat tones. In the past, there were immigrants in Yang Ren town (Dongtai and other places), so the accent was slightly different.
