The geographical environment of Zhang Liangzhen

Zhang Liangzhen is high in the south and low in the north, with shallow hills in the south and plains in the north and middle. The main rivers in the territory are Hepeng River and Lengshui River, and there are 4 small and medium-sized reservoirs. Most of the groundwater is replenished by rainfall infiltration, and the water quantity is sufficient. The northern plain area accounts for 1/3 of the total area of the town. Located in Zhaopingtai Reservoir and He Peng Reservoir Irrigation Area, the land is fertile and convenient for machine farming. It is one of the main grain and vegetable producing areas in Lushan County. The hilly area in the south accounts for 2/3 of the total area of the town, with an average elevation of 300 meters. It belongs to the residual vein of Funiu Mountain, with gentle slope and deep soil layer, and is rich in peanuts. It is one of the main oil-producing areas in Lushan County. The forest protection land is uniquely developed, and the main mineral deposits are granite, crystal stone, lead and zinc, potassium feldspar and so on.
