Why are all Singaporeans from China speaking Mandarin? Why don't they belong to China?

There are very few Singaporeans in China, and the proportion of Chinese and Chinese is about 75% at present. There are great differences between China people and Chinese Americans. China people refer to citizens who retain China nationality (Republic of China and People's Republic of China (PRC)).
