Wuqing district Dahuangbao Wetland will form a no-man's land. In 2025, 9 villages will be relocated to complete the construction of no-man's land.

In order to better protect Dahuangbao Wetland, the "kidney of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei", wuqing district has completed the transfer of all 40.2 square kilometers of land in the core area, upgraded the protection and expanded the scope, and completed the transfer of 30.27 square kilometers of land in the buffer area according to the standards of the core area, accounting for 70.47 square kilometers.

According to reports, the area has also completed 70,000 cubic meters of river dredging, supplemented more than 200 boundary markers, and implemented closed management of the core area and some buffer zones. Based on the completion of wetland ecological water replenishment in 20 18, this year's ecological water replenishment has exceeded100000 cubic meters.

According to the plan, four villages in the wetland core area (Wuzidian, Dongsiwo, Xisiwo, Sigaozhuang and Bian Xiao) will be relocated in 2023, and five villages in the buffer area (Caojiagang, Dongbalizhuang, Sima Ying, Xiaohuangbao, Chen Zhuang and Bian Xiao) will be relocated in 2025. By then, the entire 52.5 square kilometers of wetland core area and buffer zone will form a no-man's land, which will completely restore the wetland ecological environment.
