Work visa process in Brazil

Business visas are time-limited, and you can't stay in Brazil for more than 6 months every year (that is, if the visa is a 90-day business visa, you can apply for an extension in Brazil), so you need to go back to China to apply for a work visa within the time limit of the business visa.

The premise of a work visa is that you already have an employer in Brazil, which means that someone in Brazil has signed a labor contract with you.

Brazilian employers' companies are responsible for submitting work visa approval applications to the Brazilian Ministry of Labor and Employment (Ministry of Labor) and the National Migration Committee. After receiving the relevant approval document/number from Brazil (the acceptance number approved by the Ministry of Labor is published in the official gazette), apply for a visa in embassies and consulates in China (the validity period of the work visa is 90 days to 2 years, mainly depending on the application materials submitted by Brazilian companies to the Ministry of Labor).

Then you need to prepare the visa materials. The information mainly includes (the embassy may request supplementary information):

Labor contract, birth certificate, residence certificate, recent (within 90 days) certificate of no crime, etc. Both of them need notarization and double authentication (the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Embassy of Brazil, notarization before authentication).

Original passport, visa photo, application form (similar to business visa), etc.

The whole process is complicated. I suggest you contact China (Brazil) Investment and Development Trade Center. They are very professional.
