The Seven Imperial Edicts refer to the seven political orders issued by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty in 1793.

3. Officials are prohibited from giving gifts to ordinary people.
4. Prohibit missionaries from spreading Catholicism.
5. Promulgate new criminal laws and strengthen supervision of officials.

7. Establish a no-smoking system. The term "imperial edict" originated from ancient China and refers to the decrees and regulations issued by the emperor, which are sacred and inviolable.
