There are countless beautiful scenery in Shan Ye, Guizhou. Today, I want to talk about Huawu Village, Renxin Miao Township, qianxi county, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. This mountain has dense forests and winding rivers, which clearly moisten this ancient land. In recent years, the hometown of Miao people's songs and dances, the hometown of China folk culture and art, the village with tourist characteristics in China and the most attractive ethnic village in Guizhou are the proud labels here.

Huawu Village is located in the hinterland of Wumeng Mountain, next to Sancha River. For many years before that, it had been called "Huawu Foundation", which means "village under the cliff". Just looking at the meaning shows how dangerous the terrain is. The mountains are like barriers, separating the village from the outside world. The mountains are majestic and the water is vast. The rocks here are covered with all kinds of plants that can't be named, which is picturesque.

Wujiang River is the largest tributary on the south bank of the Yangtze River, and Huawu Village is located in the upper reaches of Wujiang River. The river is clear, the reflection is blue, quiet and beautiful, the peaks on both sides are steep and majestic, and many waterfalls and springs fall into the lake. It is the most beautiful cliff corridor on the Wujiang River thousands of miles away, and has the reputation of "mountains are like the Three Gorges, water is better than the Three Gorges, water is like the Lijiang River, and mountains are better than the Lijiang River". Of course, such peerless scenery can only be seen by boat, otherwise.

Huawu Village is located in such beautiful scenery, surrounded by steep mountains and streams. Year after year, this land has precipitated a quiet world. Due to objective factors such as traffic and climate, people here live a poor and primitive life.

Most people in the village are Miao people, but they are said to be one of the many branches of Miao people-crooked comb seedlings. There are many branches of Miao nationality, with different languages and customs. Most branches of Miao nationality are named after their headdresses and costumes. The slanting comb seedling is named after a female wearing a comb on one side of her head.

Playing Lusheng is an important part of the life of crooked comb seedlings. Every year, from the first day to the fifteenth day of the Lunar New Year, a slope-jumping festival (Lusheng Festival) is held, which is watched by men, women and children in the village. The scene is very lively.

Legend has it that hundreds of years ago, their ancestors migrated here to escape the war. Over the years, there are knife and axe mountains all around, and there is no decent way to get in and out of the village. We often have to climb cliffs and rely on people to pack horses.

It is surrounded by water on three sides, and then it cuts the towering cliff with a knife and axe. Perhaps it is such a natural and closed environment, where the traditional production, lifestyle and quaint ethnic customs are completely preserved. Before the highway was connected, I basically lived a self-sufficient and almost isolated life, "cooking and burning wood, lighting kerosene lamps." They have their own language, wear their own national costumes in daily life, write and relive their own history and culture in costumes and buns, weddings and funerals.

In Huawu Village, a few kilometers away from Fiona Fang, karst landforms are everywhere. The villagers are "looking at the river and crying, thirsty." Every generation has the experience of eating over mountains and mountains.

However, with the continuous development of our country, it has also ushered in opportunities and undergone earth-shaking changes. New immigrant villages have mushroomed in the mountains, with smooth and clean roads leading to the door, and serving the tourism industry has become the main source of income for people here. Folk songs, playing lusheng, bonfire dancing ... simple folk customs attract tourists from all directions. Miao embroidery and handmade food, which have been passed down for thousands of years, are also the favorite tourist targets of foreign tourists.

Women here have to learn from Miao Xiu, weaving and batik from their mothers since childhood. This is a life skill that everyone must master, otherwise they will be laughed at for making their own clothes. The embroidery content of women's costumes in Huawu Village is extremely rich. The costumes are mainly lines, and there are two colored stripes on the arms, symbolizing the Yangtze River and the Yellow River, indicating the birthplace of the Huawu Miao family. Bird patterns embroidered on the chest and back show the different hobbies and personalities of women with diagonal comb seedlings. A set of clothes contains the historical records of Huawuji Miao compatriots, their love for their hometown and their yearning for a better life.

Behind Huawu Miao Village, there is a small mountain village called Arrow Tube Tun, which is 280 meters away from the cliff. It is inaccessible. The bamboo peak above goes straight into the sky, with towering old trees and vines, and rare birds inhabiting the mountain. There is a clear spring between the peaks, which does not melt all the year round, and the local Miao cells regard it as divine water.

The magical landscape gave birth to the Miao people with crooked houses, and the Miao compatriots with rich musical endowments created songs and dances that depended on this landscape. In this beautiful environment where mountains and rivers are interdependent and mutually close, for thousands of years, people in Huawu Village have devoted their efforts to managing this unchanging land. Nowadays, although the transportation is not as convenient as the town, it has begun to attract more and more tourists to explore the original atmosphere here. This Miao village hidden in the deep mountains, with its magnificent and steep natural landscape and unique ethnic customs, has become a unique scenery and paradise hidden in boudoir in northern Guizhou.
