The main resettlement direction is to determine the basis of life based on the following aspects:
1. Place of origin
2. Place of enlistment (note that this place of enlistment refers to the place of enlistment) Enlistment is only counted after you have permanent residence in that place. When college students join the army, the school is not counted as the place where they enlisted during job transfer, because the household registration obtained during school is not a permanent residence.)
3. The location of the spouse’s permanent residence (note There are conditional restrictions, which will be explained in detail when discussing the policy below)
4. The place of permanent residence of parents
5. The place of permanent residence of spouse, parents or children (extremely special circumstances)
Ancestral home: According to Chinese folk culture, ancestral home can be traced back three generations and refers to the place where grandparents live stably and where the father was born and raised.
Place of Birth: Generally refers to the place where the person was born and lived and grew up with his parents.
Origin: mostly refers to place of origin.
Enlistment place: generally refers to the place where the person has a stable living foundation (has a permanent residence) and enlists in the army through the military service agency.
The military transfer and resettlement policies of various provinces generally stipulate that those who graduate from colleges and universities will be accepted and resettled according to the place of enlistment; those who violate the recruitment regulations and enlist in other places will not be accepted and placed according to the place of enlistment. Generally speaking, the place of origin and place of enlistment should be the same place.
