Evolution of organizational system in Xushui District

During the Spring and Autumn Period, it belonged to the ancient Yan State.

During the Warring States Period, this was the front of the battle of Zhao Yan.

In the early Western Han Dynasty, Beixincheng County was established.

It was a border town in the Song Dynasty.

In the second year of Xianping, the site of Wusuicheng, which was guarded by Yang Zhen in Song Dynasty, still existed, and it was a key cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province.

In the second year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, some immigrants from Xiaoxingzhou, Shanxi Province arrived here, and the population in the territory became increasingly dense.

In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1937), xushui county was occupied by the Japanese army.

1July 20, 948, xushui county was liberated. In August of the same year, xushui county People's Democratic Government moved from Xiheishan Village to the county seat.

On September 2 1 65438, 29 villages in Rongcheng County, Anxin County and the south of Dingxing County were merged into xushui county.

On March 27th, 1962, xushui county resumed its original organizational system.
