China Petrochemical Hainan Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in Yangpu Development Zone, Hainan Province. China Petrochemical Group, a fortune 500 company, invested in the construction of an 8 million-ton oil refining project with a total investment of11600 million yuan. It was officially put into production in September 2006. It is estimated that the annual sales revenue is about 33.3 billion yuan, and the tax (including tariffs) is 4.77 billion yuan. The construction content mainly includes 15 sets of production devices, 300,000-ton crude oil wharf and supporting product oil wharf, as well as utilities, tank farm and other system supporting facilities. The main products are liquefied gas, jet fuel, gasoline, diesel oil, sulfur, fuel oil, benzene and polypropylene.

Hainan Refining & Chemical Company widely adopts the latest refining technology and is equipped with a process scheme of atmospheric and vacuum distillation-catalytic feedstock pretreatment-heavy oil catalytic cracking/hydrocracking (CDU/VDU-RDS-RFCC/HC). Hydrogenation pretreatment of catalytic raw materials, total hydrogenation of middle distillate oil, hydrofining of gasoline, jet fuel and diesel oil. This process has certain advantages in light oil yield, product quality, clean production and environmental protection.
