Shenzhen Goodbye Prose

It has been more than three months since I arrived in Shenzhen on May 20, 2005 (August 25). Goodbye, Shenzhen - my three-month failed job search experience. Perhaps Shenzhen is a very charming city, building a new "harmonious Shenzhen, benefiting Shenzhen" and continuing the "spring story". But now I have to leave this window, the city known as the cosmopolitan city. The reason for leaving is very simple. I couldn't find a job during this period and faced the problem of continuing to live. What I can do now is to try to find a job in a city where the relative average daily consumption is not as high as Shenzhen. Recall and summarize what I have done here for about three months so that I can learn and progress from it. Although there are sporadic diary records from the past, there may be some errors in accurate data such as time, but I think this is not very important. The following is the interview diary during these three months:

1. From May 20 to the end of June from Guangzhou to Shenzhen. My sister has to take a test related to computer knowledge, so I help her with tutoring. This time, I first learned about the No. 237 bus, because I needed to get off from Songpingshan to Baoan North Road Station, and then walk to the Municipal Vocational Training Center.

2. On June 1st, I went to an electronics company in Shenzhen to interview for the position of wired broadband installation in the Tongjian Building. The result is failure. Although it was "recommended" by Brother Cui, when I arrived at the destination, the person in charge (manager) was out, and I didn't see these noble people, so I was in trouble.

3. Worked at a certain P&T Co., Ltd. from June 8th to July 8th. The result is failure. The interview before the job was still very successful. But the three-month probation period was not over yet, and he was fired due to personal reasons. During this month, I have been deeply impressed by Mr.King & Mr.Sun and their Staffs, and I would like to thank them for their help.

4. This time I was interviewed by a knight company in the Shenzhen Talent Market. The position was technical support. The result was a failure. Maybe it was because my major was not computer-related or my own theoretical knowledge. Really poor. In fact, in the talent market, it does not count as an interview. Most of them just hand in a resume. This time, because the person in charge of recruiting on the spot of this company, after a simple screening (about four people), a written test was conducted immediately. At that time, I was late. I answered a set of questions (including Outlook Express account settings, VPN principles, TCP/IP protocol brief description, etc.), and I felt that my answers were pretty good. Maybe I did it faster at the time, so he gave me another translation volume, which contained many applications for communication between UNIX and Microsoft networks (Samba, etc.). I also answered a lot.

5. I once applied for a job as a DIY computer quoter at the Luohu District job market, but the result was a failure. If you go to the company in Baohua Building, you can join as long as you are willing, but you must go through a seven-day assessment period. During the seven-day assessment period, there is no salary. I was arranged to have an order delivered at the door of one of the company's stores. One morning, without saying a few words, no order was delivered. I took advantage of lunch time and resigned. Two guys from the Northeast came the day before me, and they were very easy to talk to, like buddies.

6. I once applied for the position of 160 enterprise information registration in Shenzhen Talent Market. The result failed. One day at work, after get off work, I told Ms. Chen, who was in charge, that I was not suitable for business and resigned. Ms. Chen smiled and said that she thought I was more suitable for technical skills. Leave OCT.

7. On July 29, I applied for a technical position in a Hong Kong-funded video conferencing product company in the Shenzhen talent market. The interview skills were "Goodbye, Shenzhen - My 3-month failed job search experience". The result failed. At that time, in the talent market, there were already two interviews. Therefore, going to Shanhuju is not the first interview with the company. Mr. Chen is talkative and young. I also talked a lot, about thirty minutes. But it may be because of my academic qualifications or experience that I failed.

8. On August 3, I went to the Women and Children Development Building to interview for the position of maintenance worker. The result failed. Although it was a 120-minute exam, it only took me about 40 minutes to finish it.

But it seemed that my answer was incorrect or did not meet the purpose of the question, so when I called the company for the second time to inquire about the results, I was not included in the list.

9. On August 11, I went to a life insurance company in Guomao Commercial Building for an interview. The result failed. After talking with Ms. Yang, she said that I felt that I was not passionate enough and seemed more rational, so I was not suitable for selling insurance.

10. On August 19, I went to a company in Nanshan Education Information Building to interview for a customer service position. The result failed. For the first time, they only accepted my resume and answers. During the second interview, although the person in charge praised me for my broad knowledge, he failed due to lack of practice.

11. On August 25, I went to a technology company in Metropolis 100 Building to interview for an after-sales service position. The result failed. When I arrived, the person in charge was not there. After about an hour, Mr. Jiang will take charge. The first sentence is that my major is not suitable for me. When I left, I picked up my resume. At the same time, he said goodbye to a young lady named Hu and praised her by saying, "Fresh graduates have good plasticity."

In my impression, Shenzhen is just two roads, two buses, two talent markets, two buildings, one scenic spot, one supermarket, and one Internet cafe. Here are the details. ? The two roads refer to North Ring Avenue and Binhai Avenue. Route 237 passes by Beihuan Avenue, and Route 236 passes by Binhai Avenue. ? The two buses refer to buses 236 (Songping Village to Huaxin Village) and 237 (Fuguang Village Ring Line, passing through Baoan North Intersection and Sungang Village Station). Take bus 236 to Hubei Tower and bus 237 to the talent market. ? The two talent markets refer to the Luohu District talent market and the Shenzhen talent market.

The two buildings refer to the building where the room my brother-in-law rented is located and the Hubei Building. ? A scenic spot refers to the section of Binhai Avenue where bus No. 236 runs through the mangroves. The scenery is very good, even if you feel it on the bus.

A supermarket refers to Wanchang Department Store, where I used to buy steamed buns and soy milk.

An Internet cafe refers to Tengxiang Internet Cafe. I often surf the Internet here, or download the next day's recruitment information, or search for employment information, or contact classmates, or upload files to the class website. ? Of course, there are still many people who have helped me and encouraged me, such as brother-in-law, sister, Sister Fang, Zuo, jie, Zhang, Mr. Sun, Mr. King, Peng, Qiang, long, bin, Shuaishuai, etc. ? Shenzhen is developing and maturing year by year, and the competitive environment is obvious. In the job market, the requirements for job applicants are getting higher and higher. The result is that I can’t “stay” in Shenzhen and can’t adapt to the atmosphere in Shenzhen. I said in my heart that there are three conditions for finding a job in Shenzhen: first, having interpersonal relationships; second, having high education and experience; third, having luck. If you have one of the three, you can find a job. Otherwise, it's difficult. Sometimes I think radically, if nature has four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter, what about Shenzhen? After the "Spring Story"?

Another: While in school, the interview I had in my junior year:

On campus:

1. A bank in Heyuan City. fail. It may be because the major does not meet the requirements. The impression is, "You are quite good at recommending yourself."

2. A communications company. fail. It may be due to insufficient Cantonese or sales skills. Impression, "I can type old-style Pinyin on my phone."

3. A communications company in Huadu. fail. I can’t guess why. Impression, "Thank you for helping me look at my resume and sending it back."

4. An insurance company in Heyuan City. fail. Although I may be more suitable for back-office work, I may be too honest and tell the wrong story.

5. An information company in Shenzhen. fail. I really went to the wrong place this time, even though the interview was held in the department office. The fat teacher also left this first impression on me.

6. An insurance company in Dongguan. fail. The reason may be that I have too many questions. Because I asked the person in charge of recruitment why the students who came to interview last week had no results and why they came to recruit again this week.

The person in charge, who was so fat, went out of his way to correct my posture on the chair.

7. A software company in Shenzhen. fail. During the interview, I was criticized for being "sophisticated". But I took the opportunity to introduce the FireFox browser to him.

8. An outsourcing company in Guangzhou. fail. I probably talked too much in the second interview, although my classmates who went with me said they admired the fact that I was able to talk to the miss for so long.

Off campus:

9. A certain company. fail. Although it is a resume submitted in a formal talent market. But during the interview, it turned out to be a shell company and they wanted to defraud me of 480 yuan in clothing fees.

10. A company in the Pacific Computer Market. fail. I submitted my resume, but I don’t know if I went to the wrong place or submitted the wrong resume.
