Geographical environment of Taiping town

Taiping Town is located in the southwest of Qingxin District, adjacent to Shantang Town in the southeast, Sankeng Town in the southwest, Longjing Town in the northwest and Taihe Town in the northeast. The terrain inclines from northwest to southeast, with low mountains and hills in the northwest and Beijiang Plain in the southeast. With a total area of 207.5 square kilometers, it has jurisdiction over 22 villagers' committees and/kloc-0 community neighborhood committees, with a total population of 68,044. 1949 belongs to Huiqi District, 1953 belongs to the 11th District of Qingyuan County, 1958 belongs to Qingxi Commune, 1960 establishes Taiping Commune, 1983 changes the district, 1986 builds the town, 2000.

Taiping Town is an industrial town located in Qingxin District, including Fu Ying Industrial Park, Longwan Industrial Park and Ma Yue Industrial Park, among which Fu Ying Industrial Park is included in the industrial transfer industrial park in Qingxin District; Key projects have settled in Qingyuan Pumped Storage Power Station and Longwan Environmental Protection Demonstration Base, and key enterprises include Wanbang Shoes, Hongquan Food and Xinyi Cable.

Taiping Town has convenient transportation, the west line of Binjiang X369 runs through the north and south, the first-class highway of Qingsi and the industrial road of Qingxi run through the east and west, and all the roads leading to the administrative village are hardened with cement. The town is 0/7km away from the center of the district/kloc-and 80km away from Guangzhou.
