The College of Art and Information Engineering of Dalian University of Technology is located in Zhuanghe City, Dalian, Liaoning Province. It is an independent college of general higher education established in June 2002 with the approval of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Education.

The college has more than 7,500 students and 383 full-time teachers, including 242 teachers with master's degrees or above and 96 with associate professors or above. The college consists of seven professional departments including the Department of Culture and Media, Department of Environmental Art Design, Department of Fashion Design and Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, Department of Economics and Management, and Department of Foreign Languages, as well as the School of Applied Science and Technology.
