What is the reason that makes it difficult for front-line operators in chemical enterprises to recruit?

I work in a chemical plant, and I still work in a chemical plant. You can see from my professional certification that my company name will have the word "chemical plant", so I will definitely tell you that my chemical plant belongs to a fine chemical enterprise, which belongs to a pioneer company in the fine chemical industry in China.

It is difficult for chemical plants to recruit front-line workers. This phenomenon has always existed. At present, there are about 30 thousand people in my company, not only in Chongqing, but also in all chemical enterprises in China. In recent years, the turnover rate of employees in the chemical manufacturing industry is very high, which is caused by the lack of understanding of the chemical manufacturing industry by many people in chemical plants. Some chemical enterprises belong to large chemical industries, such as chemical plants that produce urea solution, industrial methanol and liquid chlorine. And belongs to the large-scale chemical manufacturing industry. Such enterprises are relatively backward in manufacturing weapons and equipment, with a relatively low level of intelligence and serious pollution, which may easily lead to safety and environmental accidents, so it is difficult for such enterprises to recruit people; However, like my chemical plant, it belongs to a biochemical fine chemical enterprise, focusing on manufacturing various military, police and civilian chemical intermediates. The processing process is all intelligent, and information management replaces manual control. The whole process from raw materials coming in to products going out is a fully automatic process that causes chemical changes. The staff only need to check the changes of various reflection databases on the computer in the operation room, and the whole process is intelligent practice.

In recent years, due to the strengthening of national inspection and supervision of chemical plants, chemical plants have gradually increased investment in environmental protection and pollution-free. Therefore, green manufacturing and harmless treatment manufacturing have become important production processes in chemical manufacturing. However, people's impression of chemical manufacturing industry is that it is a continuous high temperature, high fever, flammable and explosive material, so when it comes to chemical plants, it becomes pale and powerless, and they don't know much about the production process of chemical plants, but now it has evolved into factories. Except for most students who study chemical plants, it is actually very difficult for ordinary people to evolve factories. In addition, in recent years, local government departments have certain rigid regulations on the professional knowledge and education of workers in the chemical manufacturing industry, and those who do not meet the requirements must be replaced, which is also the main reason.

I gradually entered this company in 2006. Every year, the task is to lead the team to recruit chemical professionals in various universities. The college students who entered your company in 2006 are basically leading cadres or technicians in the production lines of various factories. In 20 10, 40 graduate students and 0 doctoral students were introduced. Up to now, 40 graduate students, except those who have been promoted to leadership positions, have basically resigned and gone to private enterprises, and there is no doctoral student of 10 today. To sum up the reasons behind this, the key is that many private enterprises have dug up state-owned chemical plants, so the chemical plants of state-owned enterprises usually become the talent training bases of private chemical plants.

Generally speaking, it is difficult for chemical plants to attract front-line operators now. I summed up three reasons. First, the operators of chemical plants are very demanding. At present, most of them are people with college education or above, and many students are reluctant to work in the front line. Second, there are differences in the cognition of chemical plants, and they always think that chemical plants are harmful and important, so they are mentally resistant to the work of chemical plants; Third, the promotion procedures of state-owned chemical plants are complicated, unlike private bosses who can get a promotion and a salary increase in one sentence.
