Postdoctoral Recruitment Notice

Peking University HSBC Business School plans to recruit two full-time postdoctoral researchers in 2014. The postdoc will participate in the research work of the cooperation between Peking University HSBC Business School and the Shenzhen Statistical Society Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base.

Main research areas:

1. Macroeconomic analysis and research;

2. Analysis and research on the impact of new business formats on GDP accounting ;

3. Research on the development of the financial services industry and its statistical methods;

4. Research on strategic emerging industry policies and its statistical methods;

5. Economy Research on the construction and application of statistical indicator systems for social development.

Professor Hai Wen, former vice president of Peking University and doctoral supervisor; Xu Xianchun, deputy director of the National Bureau of Statistics and doctoral supervisor; Tang Jie, deputy mayor of Shenzhen and doctoral supervisor, also guided the postdoctoral research work.

Application requirements:

1. Economics, finance, management, statistics or Relevant majors, with strong mathematical foundation and econometric research capabilities;

2. Strong English reading and Chinese writing skills;

3. Interested in academic and policy research;

4. Comply with the "Implementation Rules for the Management of Postdoctoral Researchers at Peking University"/shownews.asp?NewsID=521

5. Obtain a doctoral degree within two years or have passed the doctoral thesis defense PhD students who are about to graduate must be under 40 years old, regardless of gender;

6. Strong organizational concepts and sense of responsibility, a down-to-earth work spirit, and good communication skills and teamwork spirit; < /p>

On-site treatment:

1. Postdoctoral fellows’ treatment while on-site shall be based on the treatment of postdoctoral fellows at Peking University.

2. After the postdoctoral fellows pass the mid-term and final examinations, the Shenzhen Municipal Government will provide them with a living allowance of 80,000 yuan per year, and a maximum of 160,000 yuan for two years.

3. During the period when postdoctoral fellows participate in research at the Statistical Society, the Statistical Society will provide necessary office conditions and single dormitories, pay wages based on the salary standards of contract employees with the same qualifications, and provide social insurance, housing provident fund and other benefits.
