Are Wuhu Machinery Industrial Park and Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone the same place?

Wuhu Machinery Industrial Park is a development zone of Wuhu Machinery Industry, which is located in the southern suburbs of Wuhu City and the east of Wuhu County. 200 1 was established with the approval of Wuhu Municipal People's Government, and was approved as a provincial development zone by Anhui Provincial People's Government in March 2006. Now it is a provincial key development zone in Anhui Province. The park takes advanced equipment manufacturing as the leading industry, and its development goal is to build a first-class advanced equipment manufacturing base and an automobile parts export processing base in Anhui Province.

By the end of July, 2006, more than 400 enterprises had signed up to enter the park, including 43 completed and put into operation, 97 under construction, and more than 8,000 employees. The park has been successively approved as "Private Science and Technology Park of Wuhu Machinery in Anhui Province" and "Entrepreneurship Base for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Anhui Province", and cooperated with China University of Science and Technology, Hefei University of Technology and other universities to turn the park into a teaching practice base for colleges and universities.
