Electrical design is mainly circuit design, such as designing circuit boards, designing electrical circuits and selecting electronic components. There are many electrical subjects.

Structural design is mainly about structural design. Circuit boards and components designed by electrical engineers need to be scientifically and reasonably arranged in an effective space, and at the same time, they need to be supported and fixed by certain shells, metal sheets and other things. It is not as simple as simply designing a shell to put everything in, but also consider the electrical performance (such as insulation distance), physical performance (such as heat dissipation, corrosion resistance and waterproof) and various problems in the assembly process of the whole product. It feels simple and complicated anyway. More emphasis on materials and machinery.

In addition, the electrical design and structural design mentioned above are not completely independent, but there are still many overlaps. For example, structural design also needs to know electrical knowledge, and electrical design also needs to know some knowledge of materials and machinery.
