what is hydrology? Knowing "hydrology" by consulting data is a subject that studies the temporal and spatial distribution and changing law of water in nature. Water breeds the creatures of the world, it promotes our navigation in the long river of life, and it makes life endless, so water has become our most precious resource. The existence of hydrology enables us to make better use of this gift from the world. Thinking of this, I deeply feel the greatness of hydrological work.

in July, 2xx, full of excitement and fantasy, I came to my work place-Lanling Hydrological Center. It is far away from the hustle and bustle here, and everything in the bustling city is pulled down with the geographical location of the hydrological center to precipitate a little rare silence. I can't help but think of Tao Yuanming's "Returning to the Garden": after a long time in the cage, I am back to nature. Hydrological industry is a combination of nature and tranquility, self-cultivation and self-cultivation. With the warm greetings from my colleagues, my hydrological career officially began here.

through the teaching of the stationmaster and colleagues during the past few months, I realized that hydrological work not only needs excellent professional theoretical knowledge, but also needs to be organically combined with practice, so as to accumulate experience and exercise the operation skills of instruments and equipment. Hydrological work should have both enthusiasm and patience, division of labor and close cooperation, and a high sense of responsibility and mission, so as to accomplish the task of forecasting well. Because I just arrived at the station, I need to consult my predecessors in many places I don't understand. The webmaster and colleagues will tirelessly explain to me the flow calculation method, recording requirements, flood reporting task requirements and data checking skills.

"Sneak into the night with the wind, moisten things silently." Whenever the rain falls on the window in the middle of the night, it means that we will go out to measure the flow the next morning, and we will go to various rivers to count and calculate the flow. The journey is bumpy, but the mood is really good. In the flood season of fierce summer, we went into the water to clean the water gauge and measure the current with a hanging rod. When our body was immersed in the stream, the splashing water splashed on my face, which made people feel relaxed and happy.

I have been working in the hydrological industry for half a year before I know it. I realize that I should learn from water, learn its spirit and character, cultivate a soft mind, cultivate the virtue of humility, imitate the selfless kindness of water, and make my body and mind reach the state of perfection and beauty, so that I can like the hydrological industry, because hydrology is really not as boring as I thought. Changing my mentality will find another beauty of hydrology, and the fun of life depends on it. It doesn't depend on work or place. Since fate has given me an identity as a hydrologist, I will give full play to its value and try my best to promote the development of hydrology.

Part II

On January 4th, 219, in the conference room of Lanling Hydrological Center, the leaders of the Center held a "Symposium for Government Purchasing Service Personnel of County Hydrological Center" together with all our government purchasing service personnel and parents. At the meeting, the leaders of the center communicated with our parents about the work and performance of seven government procurement service personnel in the past six months, and made plans and expectations for each of us in the future. Through this meeting, I deeply realized the concern of leaders at all levels of the Hydrological Bureau. Now, as a hydrologist who buys services from the government, I also want to talk about my personal experience and inner feelings.

in September 218, I passed the open recruitment examination for government procurement service personnel by the Municipal Hydrological Bureau, and came to the Lanling County Hydrological Center to join our big family of hydrology. Joining me are six colleagues, some fresh graduates and some who have worked in other units. I am a few years older than them, and I have been working in the enterprise before I came to our hydrological work. At that time, I was busy repeating the same work every day like a machine, and people got along very coldly. Since I came to work in the Hydrological Center, I have personally realized the difference in working environment and working atmosphere. Compared with my previous work, I have found a sense of belonging in the Hydrological Center for half a year.

leaders at all levels of the Hydrographic Bureau have given us great care and help in our work and life. Since I have such a good opportunity to engage in hydrological work, I should learn and know how to be grateful and dedicated.

I have been engaged in hydrological work for nearly half a year, and I have deeply realized the connotation of hydrological spirit: "innovation, dedication, truth-seeking and dedication", which is embodied in the spiritual pursuit of doing one's job, loving one's job and completing one's job as a career. In practical work, it is to dare to endure hardships, help colleagues and unite and help each other. As young hydrologists, we will continue to carry forward the hard-working spirit of hydrologists, who are not afraid of hardship and fatigue.

Xiongguan Road is like iron, but now it's a step from the beginning. In 218, I entered the big family of hydrology, and all my work was strange and novel. 219 will be a new beginning for us to study hard and set sail. Only by learning hydrology well, doing hydrology well and proving ourselves with excellent results at the end of the year can we live up to the expectations and concerns of leaders at all levels.

In July of 2xx, I came to the hydrological station of Huibaoling Reservoir with full expectations and longings. With the warm greetings from my colleagues, my trip to Linyi hydrological work officially began here. Looking around the environment, the eight characters of hydrological spirit "seeking truth from facts, dedication, innovation" came into view, and I was shocked and encouraged by the rows of honorary certificates in the honor room. My confidence in hydrological work increased greatly, and I felt that the hydrological station was a hardworking and harmonious family.

I came to a strange working environment, and before I got familiar with it, a flood was coming. In the face of this surging flood, as the government purchasing service personnel, we have made sufficient preparations before the flood to meet the challenge of the flood.

We go back and forth between the hydrological station and the monitoring station almost every day. With the hardship of flow measurement and the fatigue of work, I saw the fierceness of the flood at first sight, and the fear of the flood came to my mind. During the period, I wanted to slack off and indulge, but I was infected by my colleagues' working attitude and threw myself into the flow measurement work without hesitation. It is precisely because of this that in the face of the flood, we calmly and calmly responded, thinking that "persistence is victory, unity is strength" and finally successfully rushed to measure the flood peak. This flood is not only for me to finish the test, but also an opportunity to show my work ability and attitude, and it is also a way for me to accumulate practical experience.

there is no difference between clumsiness and cleverness, only the difference between diligence and laziness. Han Yu once said, "Industry is good at diligence but poor at play." I have just joined the hydrological work, and I lack experience. Whether it is skill training or actual hydrological test, every flow measurement work is an opportunity for me to learn and improve. I should be diligent in learning and thinking, dare to practice, be good at summing up, and understand the essentials of hydrological work.

along the way, what impressed me the most was the family forum organized by the leaders of the unit, which provided us with opportunities to learn and communicate, learn from each other's strengths, and show ourselves. The unit is the hub for communication between me and others and the society, and it is the stage for giving full play to my intelligence and wisdom.
