Introduction to the Museum Archaeological Museum was founded in June 2020, and it is the first archaeological museum with sites in China. The Archaeological Museum is located in the west section of the south wall of Luoyang City Ruins in Sui and Tang Dynasties in Luoyang City, with an exhibition area of about 3,000 square meters. Luoyang Institute of Archaeology is responsible for the construction, management and layout of Chen Zhan.

The museum consists of 16 areas, including archaeological sites, four great inventions and Luoyang, exploring the Millennium, studying and appreciating 100 pieces, archaeological mountains, archaeological mysteries and foreign archaeology. More than 300 outstanding archaeological relics at home and abroad and related auxiliary exhibits were exhibited in the first phase, which reflected the outstanding achievements and great influence of Luoyang archaeology.

Compared with other museums that have opened in Luoyang, the Archaeological Museum has made great efforts in planning and highlighting the "behind-the-scenes stories" contained in cultural relics, adding a "new vision" for Luoyang Museum Group to appreciate traditional culture and cultural relics.
