Black Valley is located in jing xing Township, Wansheng District, 20 kilometers away from Wansheng City. Here, with high mountains and dense forests and criss-crossing streams and rivers, it is a rare complete natural ecosystem in subtropical and temperate zones of the same latitude on the earth, with a forest coverage rate of 97%. Known by experts as the "Yugui Biological Gene Bank", it is the largest natural ecological scenic spot in Chongqing with the best original ecological protection.

The total length of Black Valley Scenic Area is 13 km, including sightseeing cableway (or walking) 1 km, plank road and pontoon bridge 6 km, and battery car 6 km. Enter from the gate of the scenic spot and go down the river to Xiangshui Village. The valley is about 40-50 meters wide, with gentle land along the river and forests and mountains above. The cross section of the valley is V-shaped, and the river surface is narrow. The width of the following sections is generally about 20 meters, and some sections are only a few meters. Among them, Yutai Gorge, Wild Boar Gorge and Monkey Jumping Gorge are less than 10 meter in width and only two meters in narrowness, so it is very challenging to pass through pontoon bridge or suspension bridge.

Take a long-distance bus to Wansheng at Chongqing Nanping and Chen Jiaping coach stations, and take Wansheng-Black Valley shuttle bus at Nantong station, 5.5 yuan/person.

① To visit the Black Valley, visitors who want to take the sightseeing cable car and battery car should start going up the mountain before 10, and those who don't take the sightseeing cable car and battery car should go up the mountain before 8: 00.

② Special dishes in the scenic spot: bamboo rice. Other dishes are heavy, common and expensive, so you don't have to waste money. It's the same for preparing food at the foot of the mountain.

③ There are hotels in the scenic spot. Although it is not good, it is certain that they are clean and hygienic, with complete goods and thoughtful service. There are also hotels outside the scenic spot, and you can also stay down the mountain at night.

Wansheng Hotel, Huixin Holiday Hotel and Jin Furong Hotel are better.
