During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty (1887), Mr. Li Qiaonan, a Confucian scholar in Yantian Village, established the "Wenzhi Academy" in Long Mai, where Maolin Xiuzhu was located in the north of the mansion. The plaque "Wenzhi Academy" and the couplet "Wen Guangteng stayed in the house, and the legacy was written by Chen Lanbin, a famous Wuchuan scholar, in Guangxu in August"; From 1889 to 1929, the college was renamed "Wenzhi Primary School". 1930, Mr. Chen, then the chairman of Guangdong Province and a famous patriotic general, felt that "the children in various towns and villages have no sense of progress, and the style of study has declined, which is really sad", so he personally wrote a fundraising ceremony, calling on the gentlemen of all directions to "fire and water do not invade, but fortunately lose the bag", raise funds and make a generous donation of 10,000. The name of the school "Hepu No.5 Middle School" was inscribed by Mr. Chen. Shinnyoin, the educational administration building when the school was founded, has gone through many vicissitudes and its style remains the same. Tracing back to the source, the school has a history of 1 19 years. After liberation, the school was renamed Hepu No.5 Middle School, Hepu No.2 Middle School, Hepu No.2 Junior Middle School, Hepu Hongwei Middle School and Hepu Guangong Middle School.
