Basic operation steps of WEDM:

1) power on: turn on the power and press the power switch;

2) Input: Input the machining program into the controller.

3) Wire feeding: Press the wire feeding power switch, let the electrode wire drum idle, and check the electrode wire jitter and tightness. If the electrode wire is too loose, the tension wheel should be used to tension the electrode wire evenly.

4) Turn on the water pump and adjust the water spray amount: When turning on the water pump, please turn the regulating valve to the closed state first, and then gradually open it until the upper and lower water spray columns contain the electrode wire and the water column is aimed at the cutting area, so the water volume does not need to be too large.

5) Turn on the pulse power supply and select the electrical parameters: users should select the electrical parameters with good zui according to the requirements of cutting efficiency, precision and surface roughness.

When the electrode wire is cut into the workpiece, the pulse interval is opened, and then the pulse interval is adjusted when it is stable after cutting, so that the machining current can meet the requirements.
