1) Examination of all subjects:

Anyone who abides by the law and meets one of the following conditions can register to take the examination of all subjects of the second-level construction engineer:

Have a secondary school degree or above in engineering or engineering economics and have been engaged in the construction and management of construction projects for at least two years;

Possess a secondary school degree or above in other majors and have been engaged in construction projects 5 years or more in construction management;

15 or more years in construction and management of construction projects.

2) One subject is exempted:

Those who meet the relevant registration conditions, obtain the "Second Level Project Manager Certificate for Construction Enterprises" issued by the Ministry of Construction, and meet one of the following conditions, Can be exempted from the "Construction Engineering Construction Management" subject.

Have obtained qualifications for intermediate and above professional technical positions in engineering or engineering economics.

College degree or above in engineering or engineering economics and have been engaged in construction management of construction projects for at least 15 years.

3) 2 subjects are exempted:

Meet the relevant registration conditions, obtain the "First-level Project Manager Certificate for Construction Enterprises" issued by the Ministry of Construction, and have an intermediate technical title or above or obtain First-level project manager qualification certificate, those who have been engaged in construction management of construction projects for 15 years or more can be exempted from the subjects of "Construction Project Construction Management" and "Construction Project Regulations and Related Knowledge".

The examination subjects are as follows:

The second-level construction engineer qualification examination consists of "Construction Engineering Construction Management", "Construction Engineering Regulations and Related Knowledge" and "Professional Engineering Management and Practice" 3 subjects. Among them, the "Professional Engineering Management and Practice" subject is divided into six professional categories: construction engineering, highway engineering, water conservancy and hydropower engineering, municipal public utilities, mining engineering, and mechanical and electrical engineering. Candidates can choose one of them according to actual work needs when registering.
