Zhang Xingbin's childhood was a troubled period in China. Under extremely difficult circumstances, Zhang Wuying insisted on sending her two sons to Honghuasi Primary School outside the village. The two sons are also very smart, especially the second son, Zhang Xingbin, who is naturally smart, very studious and has excellent academic performance. At that time, he was the best student in the class He is always the first to finish the homework assigned by the teacher, and he finishes it best. The teacher always praises him and never touches his board. After school, he only needs a short time to finish the homework assigned by the teacher. After finishing his homework, he often leads his village partners to play hide-and-seek in the Woods outside the village, sing Shaanxi opera on the gatehouse, and carve shadow play with paper, with various ways of playing. He became the king of the children in the village. Children are most willing to play with him. Often because of fun, other children forget the teacher's homework, so they are often punished by the teacher the next day. According to his classmates, Zhang Xingbin was often called a prodigy by his teachers and classmates. After graduating from Honghuasi Primary School, he was promoted to Xia Ji Senior Primary School to continue his studies. At that time, Hui Chunlin, secretary of Weibei District Committee of the Communist Party of China, was the principal, and Xia Ji Senior Primary School has become a famous progressive school in Weibei District. Influenced by the progressive thought of this school, Zhang Xingbin began to lean towards revolution. While studying, I took part in the underground activities of the Party, and often went out to brush and write anti-Japanese slogans to publicize the revolutionary truth. 1938- 1940, went to middle school. After graduating from high school, he joined the army and served as an instructor in a certain unit of the 38 th National Army. In the Kuomintang army, he actively carried out revolutionary activities in 1949, joined other companies of our regiment together with Zhang Yinghuan, and plotted to organize Sanyuan Uprising. As a result, the uprising plan was leaked and Zhang Xingbin was arrested. The enemy took him to the execution ground overnight and shot him. At the critical moment before the execution, my underground party member saved him. After being rescued, Zhang Xingbin continued to engage in revolutionary activities. He and the local underground party organizations actively established Weinan County Committee, and later went north to welcome the PLA to Xia Ji Middle School, thus liberating Weibei.

After the national liberation, he served as the head of Weinan District Cultural and Art Troupe. Zhang Xingbin's family used to be an old household in Guandi Town, Linwei District, specializing in Zhang Cun. It is said that 830,000 people died in Guanzhong after the Ming Dynasty earthquake. The sharp decrease of population makes the Guanzhong plain extremely short of labor force. The Ming government organized a large number of immigrants from densely populated Shanxi to enrich Guanzhong. A couple yearned for the rich natural conditions in Guanzhong, Shaanxi Province. Married with children, with the team of immigrants, they came to Zhang Cun, Pingyuan Township, Weinan County (now Zhang Cun, Guandi Town, Linwei District, Weinan City). Zhang Cun is an ancient small village, whose original inhabitants are the Zhang family.
