Can I take the high-speed train with my social security card?

Social security cards can't take the high-speed train.

When purchasing a real-name registration system ticket, the purchaser shall provide the original or photocopy of the valid identity certificate of the passenger.

If the ticket is purchased by real name through the Internet or telephone, the ticket purchaser shall provide true and accurate information on the valid identity documents of the passenger; When picking up the ticket, the original or copy of the valid identity certificate of the passenger should be provided.

If the original or photocopy of valid identity documents cannot be provided, the railway transport enterprise has the right to refuse to sell tickets.
