What are the functions of Hefei Financial Social Security Card?

The financial social security card has two functions:

1. Social security function, that is, medical insurance function: use the balance of medical insurance account to buy medicine in the pharmacy, see a doctor in the hospital, and submit an expense account in the hospital. As a basic function, this function can be used only by activating the medical insurance function (usually activated four days after the card is issued by the card-making institution), and it can be used without going to the bank for activation.

2. Bank function, which can be used as an ordinary savings card after being activated by the bank. This function is mainly to prepare for issuing and receiving social security pension with this card in the future. Social security pension has not been associated with this card.

Your card belongs to China Bank and cannot be activated in other banks. You can leave it alone for a while and have the opportunity to activate it in China Bank. If you are not at ease, you can use this card at the drugstore to see if it is normal.
