How to apply for Shenzhen provident fund card?

1. Units that employ employees shall go through the deposit registration at the housing provident fund management center within 30 days from the date of employment, and go through the establishment or transfer procedures at the entrusted bank with the audit documents of the housing provident fund management center. 2. Where a unit terminates the labor relationship with its employees, it shall, within 30 days from the date of termination of the labor relationship, go through the formalities for changing the registration at the housing provident fund management center by the unit, and go through the formalities for transferring or sealing the employee's housing provident fund account at the entrusted bank by the audit documents of the housing provident fund management center.

Legal basis:

Article 15 of the Interim Measures for the Administration of Housing Provident Fund in Shenzhen shall go to the Provident Fund Center for registration of housing provident fund deposit within 30 days from the date of establishment, and the units established before the implementation of these Measures shall go through the registration of housing provident fund deposit within the time limit specified by the Provident Fund Center.

Units shall, within 20 days from the date of approval and registration of the provident fund center, go to the entrusted bank to handle the procedures for the establishment of housing provident fund accounts for their employees. Each employee can only set up one housing provident fund account.
