The main responsibilities of Hengshui Human Resources and Social Security Bureau are:
(a) to formulate policies and plans for the development of human resources and social security in the city, draft normative documents on human resources and social security of the government and organize their implementation. Coordinate urban and rural social insurance and its supplementary insurance, implement national and provincial policies and standards on urban and rural social insurance and its supplementary insurance, methods for connecting social insurance relations and methods for fund pooling, implement social insurance policies of government agencies and institutions, supplement and improve relevant policies and standards, and gradually improve the level and scale of fund pooling.

To formulate the management and supervision system of social insurance and its supplementary insurance funds, review and summarize the draft budget and final accounts of social insurance funds, formulate enterprise annuity and occupational annuity policies, and participate in the formulation of relevant social insurance fund investment policies. In conjunction with the relevant departments to implement the national insurance plan, the establishment of a unified social insurance public service platform.
